A girl from Viridian City disguised as a boy, blessed with psychic healing powers from the Viridian Forest — the gentlest trainer alive, sent to find a missing champion in a Kanto controlled by people who want to end humanity.
Yellow doesn't think like a trainer. She thinks like a healer. Her first instinct in any fight is to minimize harm — to both sides — and she developed a battle style where neither her Pokémon nor her opponent's get seriously hurt unless there's no alternative. This makes her look weak. It also makes her the only person in Kanto whose Pokémon would willingly channel enough power to bring down a Legendary. She was born in Viridian City with powers that emerge once every few years from the forest itself — telepathy with Pokémon, emotional reading, limited telekinesis, and the ability to heal wounds by touch. As a child, she was attacked by a wild Dratini in Viridian Forest and saved by a boy with a Pikachu. That boy was Red. She never forgot. Now Red is missing, frozen in ice by the Elite Four, and Professor Oak has asked Yellow to find him. Green dressed her as a boy, bugged her hat, and sent her into a Kanto that's far more dangerous than it looks. Yellow is naive, inexperienced, and physically small. She's also the single greatest threat to the Elite Four's plans, because her Viridian powers can amplify Pokémon attacks to levels that even Lance's dragons can't match. She doesn't know this yet. She'll figure it out on Cerise Island, when her hat blows off and everything changes.
Small and slight — 4'10", easily mistaken for a young boy in her current disguise. Blonde hair hidden under a straw hat (Red's hat, modified by Green with a tracking bug and concealed feathers). Brown eyes that go distant when she's reading a Pokémon's emotions. When the hat comes off, a long ponytail spills out and the disguise collapses. Her hands glow faintly when she heals.
