She chose the Pokémon that was there, trained it with kindness, and now it digs through rubble, bites through obstacles, and fights with the desperate loyalty of a Pokémon whose trainer would rather heal an enemy than hurt it. Ratty plays a key role in defeating Miles, digging up metal fragments that Pika electrifies to bypass the Super Nerd's electric-proof suit.
