A Super Nerd hired by Agatha to steal Pika and spy on Yellow — defeated by Yellow's cleverness and then possessed by Agatha's Gastly to keep him quiet.
Miles is Agatha's field agent — a Super Nerd hired to track Yellow and steal Red's Pikachu. He disguises himself to look like Red, using the resemblance to lure Yellow into traps. His Persian's Scratch attacks walls to create disorienting noise, and his Marowak's Bonemerang is laced with spores from his Paras to incapacitate Yellow's Pokémon. It's a clever plan, but Yellow is cleverer. She has Dody and Ratty dig up metal fragments and has Pika electrify them, bypassing Miles's electric-proof suit. When he tries to flee, Erika, Brock, Misty, and Blaine surround him. The real danger comes after Miles's defeat. Agatha has her Gastly possess his unconscious body to silence him — she can't risk him revealing Elite Four connections. Blue later identifies the Gastly technique from a previous encounter with Agatha, giving the heroes their first concrete lead.
