A phantom island that appears and vanishes — where Juan trained Ruby and Sapphire for the final battle, and where Rono evolved into Aggron.
Mirage Island is a location that only appears under specific conditions, making it the perfect training ground — isolated, undiscoverable, and outside the reach of both Team Aqua and Team Magma. Juan, along with Tate and Liza, trains Ruby and Sapphire here to prepare them for the final confrontation with Groudon and Kyogre. Rono (Sapphire's Lairon) evolved into Aggron during training on Mirage Island. The island serves as the calm before the storm — the last moment of preparation before everything converges on Sootopolis.
A small, mysterious island that phases in and out of visibility. Lush vegetation, clear water, and an otherworldly calm. When visible, it seems too perfect — too green, too quiet, too removed from the chaos consuming the mainland. Time feels different here, as though the island exists slightly outside the normal flow.
