Located near the Lake of Rage, it connects to the Masked Man's experiments with forced Pokémon evolution (the Red Gyarados). Everything about Mahogany Town is a mask: a peaceful town hiding a criminal empire, a kindly Gym Leader hiding a kidnapper, a frozen surface hiding volcanic grief.
