Kurt's town — where Apricorns become Poké Balls, Slowpoke are sacred, and the old craftsman's knowledge became the Masked Man's most dangerous weapon.
Azalea Town is Kurt's home and workshop, where he crafts custom Poké Balls from Apricorns. He challenged Gold and Silver to catch Pokémon using his creations — Friend Ball and Heavy Ball respectively. The Pokémon Center here is where a massive group of Pokémon gathered to break the Masked Man's control over Ho-Oh and Lugia. Critically, the Masked Man forced Kurt to surrender his ancestral plans for the GS Ball — without Azalea Town's craftsman, the entire time-travel plot would have been impossible.
A small, forested town at the edge of Ilex Forest. Kurt's workshop dominates the main road, filled with Apricorns and hand-crafted Poké Balls. Slowpoke wander freely — the town considers them sacred. The Slowpoke Well descends into limestone caves beneath the town.
