Sham was kidnapped by the Masked Man as a child and became a Neo Team Rocket executive alongside Carl. She and Carl tortured the Team Rocket Elite Trio for failing to capture Suicune. At Indigo Plateau, after Gold defeats their Pokémon, Sham reveals that she and Carl were only decoys — the Masked Man's real plan was always at Ilex Forest. Her team includes Slowking and three Persian, one of which has been with her since childhood captivity.
