Four Island is Lorelei's home, and its invasion by Team Rocket is what drove her to ally with the Pokedex holders. Icefall Cave is the island's dominant feature -- a deep frozen cavern where Carr attacked the protagonists early in the arc. The island's isolation makes it strategically valuable. It sits roughly at the midpoint of the archipelago, and its cave systems provide natural shelter and defensible positions. For Lorelei, defending Four Island is not strategy -- it is personal.
