The Delta Shield is not a constructed item but a biological defense mechanism. When Organism No. 2 retreated to Birth Island wounded by Pika's Thunder, it encased itself in a pyramid of combined Reflect and Light Screen energy to protect itself during recovery. Giovanni broke through it using Aggron's Brick Break -- a Fighting-type move specifically designed to shatter defensive barriers. The Delta Shield's destruction left Deoxys vulnerable and led directly to its capture. The shield represents Deoxys's fundamental nature: a creature that, when threatened, retreats and defends rather than attacks. It is not a predator. It is prey that evolved cosmic-level defenses and still wasn't safe.
A translucent, triangular pyramid of energy encasing Deoxys on Birth Island.
