Sird is a spy. Her entire time in Team Rocket was an undercover mission for Cyrus of Team Galactic, investigating extraterrestrial Pokemon like Deoxys and Jirachi for reasons that will not become clear until the Diamond and Pearl arc. In this arc, she is devastatingly effective. She defeats Lorelei of the Elite Four in single combat. She solves the Tanoby Key to control an army of Unown. She retrieves the Ruby and Sapphire gems from Trainer Tower. And at the arc's climax, she fires a beam from a Poke Ball -- later revealed to be Darkrai -- that turns Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Silver to stone. The petrification was intended for Deoxys. The Pokedex holders got in the way. Sird fled, her mission complete, leaving five children frozen and a mystery that would not be solved for years. Her Pokemon include Persian, Starmie, and Banette. She controlled Darkrai until it became too dangerous to contain.
A tall, elegant woman with sharp features and an expression of perpetual calm calculation. Her uniform is immaculate. She moves with deliberate grace and speaks with a politeness that never reaches her eyes. Everything about her suggests layers of deception beneath a controlled surface.
