Poli is Red's Water-type veteran, evolved from a Poliwag through Poliwhirl to its final Poliwrath form. In this arc it serves as part of Red's balanced team, providing close-combat support and water-based attacks during the battles across the Sevii Islands and aboard the Team Rocket airship.
A stocky, muscular Poliwrath with a spiral pattern on its white belly. Its blue skin is tough from years of training. It moves with a fighter's balance and strikes with both water pressure and physical force.
