A former Elite Four villain turned reluctant ally -- an Ice-type master who joins forces with the Pokedex holders because Team Rocket invaded her home island.
Lorelei was a villain in the Yellow arc -- one of the Elite Four who conspired to destroy humankind. She has since retreated to Four Island in the Sevii Islands, her birthplace, living quietly among the people she once would have sacrificed. When Team Rocket invades the islands, Lorelei's territorial instincts override her isolation. She allies with Red, Blue, and Green not out of idealism but out of fury -- these are her islands, her people, and no one attacks them. The Pokedex holders split up for a counterattack: Red to Five Island against Carr, Blue to Six Island against Orm, and Lorelei to Seven Island against Sird. Sird defeated her. Lorelei's Ice-type mastery was not enough against Sird's Unown army and Banette. It is one of the few genuine losses in the arc -- a powerful trainer brought down by someone operating on a completely different level.
A striking woman with sharp features and an imperious bearing. Red hair, glasses, and the cold confidence of someone who once tried to exterminate humanity and has since reconsidered. Her Ice-type Pokemon reflect her personality: beautiful, precise, and dangerous.
