Tokyo's most electric commercial district — massive screens, constant crowds, and the Phantom Thieves' primary hangout. Everything important passes through Shibuya.
Shibuya never stops moving. During the day it's students, salarymen, and tourists. At night it's something looser — the city showing its appetite. Ryuji gravitates here instinctively. The arcade in the underground mall has rows of games and a rhythm machine where Joker can train reflexes. Diner across the street stays open late. Mishima's Phansite notifications arrive faster here, as if proximity to crowds amplifies the signal. Shibuya Station itself is a node — the platform leads to Yongen-Jaya, Aoyama, everywhere. Underneath the scramble, Kaneshiro's Palace manifests as a floating bank that only the Phantom Thieves can see.
Station Square opens onto the famous scramble crossing: hundreds of people converging from every direction under towers of LED signage. Central Street is narrower, packed with fast food chains, the Untouchable airsoft shop, and Crossroads Bar. Underground passages connect the station to shopping arcades. At night the advertisements pulse and the crowd thins to partygoers and night-shift workers.
