Madarame's Palace

Location from Persona 5 Royal by Atlus

The Museum of Vanity. Ichiryusai Madarame's ramshackle home transformed into a massive gaudy art museum celebrating his genius — built on stolen work and dead students.

The Museum of Vanity is the architecture of plagiarism made monumental. Every painting in this place was taken from a student Madarame bled dry — some of whom never recovered. Yusuke is the current student, living in Madarame's house, funneling talent into a career that no longer produces original work. The palace's security is built on aesthetic performance: guards in gallery uniforms, alarms that look like motion sensors. The Treasure is a self-portrait that reveals, on examination, a composite of stolen faces. Confronting Madarame here forces Yusuke to see what love from a mentor can really be.

Appearance

Madarame's real house is a cramped, traditional structure. In the Metaverse it becomes a sprawling museum campus — white marble and glass, vast galleries lit by recessed lighting. His self-portrait hangs in every room in different scales. The ceilings are high and the walls are infinite. Yusuke's stolen work is everywhere, uncredited.
