Aoyama-Itchome

Location from Persona 5 Royal by Atlus

An upscale Tokyo district home to Shujin Academy. The neighborhood's wealth and prestige create the social pressure that makes Shujin's culture possible.

Aoyama-Itchome exists as a social signal. To attend a school here is to have arrived — or to desperately want people to believe you have. The neighborhood's money is old and quiet. Boutiques don't advertise sales. The coffee shops have no signs in the windows. Shujin fits the context: prestigious, closed, self-protecting. Walking here in Joker's uniform draws looks — he reads as wrong for the setting, which is the point. Anne Takamaki moves through these streets aware of being watched. Makoto Niijima walks them like an obligation.

Appearance

Wide tree-lined streets with high-end boutiques. Embassies behind iron fences. The Shujin Academy building rises over a quiet intersection. Morning light makes the area feel clean and intentional. Few students walk to school visibly — most arrive by train.
