Akihabara runs hotter and brighter than the rest of Tokyo. The density of screens and blinking lights gives it a permanent noon quality even at midnight. Shinya comes here to dominate arcade shooters — he's better than adults twice his age and he knows it. The Tower is where Joker can find equipment and tools not available elsewhere. Back-alley stalls sell old components and bootleg accessories. Spending time here feels like tuning into a frequency the rest of the city ignores — obsessive, precise, and a little isolated.
