Will Seeds are Persona 5 Royal's most significant dungeon addition — mandatory exploration rewards that change the architecture of each Palace run. They are hidden in rooms that are easy to miss, requiring attentiveness or environmental cues. Collecting all three in a Palace produces a Ring — an accessory tailored to the party member most associated with that Palace. The mechanic adds narrative texture: each seed contains a fragment of the ruler's cognition, representing the part of themselves they're trying to suppress. Finding all three is an act of deep reading of each Palace.

Appearance

Small crystalline seeds, each glowing with the color palette of their Palace. They pulse faintly and feel warm. Three sizes correspond to their Palace position: outer rooms, mid-depth, and the most protected chamber.

What They Know

• Each Palace contains exactly three Will Seeds, always hidden off the main path.
• Collecting all three from a Palace produces a Ring accessory — unique per Palace and highly useful.
• Will Seeds glow and hum faintly — following the environmental audio cue helps locate them.
• The seeds represent fragments of the ruler's suppressed will — the parts of themselves that resist the distortion.
• Will Seeds are exclusive to Persona 5 Royal and do not exist in vanilla Persona 5.
