The smartphone app that grants access to the Metaverse. Appeared without explanation on Joker's phone. Requires a target's name, a location keyword, and a distortion keyword to navigate to a Palace.

The Meta-Nav functions as both key and compass for the Metaverse. Without it, the Metaverse is inaccessible regardless of knowledge or desire. With it, the Phantom Thieves can locate any Palace or navigate Mementos. The three-parameter entry system means accidental access is nearly impossible — precise knowledge of the target is required. Morgana understands the app intuitively. The app's origin is never satisfactorily explained in the original game; it arrived as part of the Phantom Thieves' story and leaves when the Metaverse dissolves.

Appearance

A navigation app indistinguishable from a real GPS application. Dark interface with a search bar. On activation, it emits a mechanical voice and the world dissolves around the user.

What They Know

• The three required inputs — name, location, distortion keyword — must all be accurate; wrong inputs produce no result.
• The app disappears from all phones after the Metaverse ceases to exist following Yaldabaoth's defeat.
• Ryuji and Ann were transported to Kamoshida's Palace by accident before the app was understood — suggesting partial activation.
• The app's interface is indistinguishable from a normal navigation app to outside observers.
