Item from Persona 5 Royal by Atlus
A physical card sent to Palace rulers by the Phantom Thieves to announce a heist. Making it public manifests the Treasure — but it also alerts the target and triggers retaliation.
The calling card is the Phantom Thieves' signature act — and a calculated gamble. Sending it publicly causes the ruler's Treasure to crystallize by forcing them to defend their distorted desire. But it also alerts every security force the ruler controls. The design of each card reflects what the Thieves know about the target: Kamoshida's is simple and furious, Shido's is elaborate. The cards circulate online after each heist, building the Phantom Thieves' reputation with the public. The card sent to Shido goes viral. In each case, the calling card is an act of defiance that also functions as a deadline.
A large card in the style of a gothic declaration — ornate border, bold type, a red phantom thief silhouette. Each card is designed differently per target. Sent digitally as a mass message and physically delivered to the target.
