Goode High School

Location from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

Percy's high school — one of many he attended, and the one where he managed to stay for more than a semester. Paul Blofis teaches here.

Goode is notable for being the school Percy didn't get expelled from, largely because his stepfather Paul Blofis teaches English there and runs interference with the administration every time something inexplicable happens. The hallways look like any New York public high school — scuffed linoleum, fluorescent lighting, lockers that stick — but monsters attacked it during the Battle of Manhattan, blowing out classroom windows and terrifying students who the Mist later convinced had experienced a gas explosion. Percy attended classes here between quests, pretending to care about algebra while ancient prophecies loomed over his weekend plans.

Appearance

A normal New York City public high school. The most interesting things that happen here (monster attacks, Titan invasions) are hidden by the Mist.
