Camp Jupiter

Location from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

The Roman demigod camp in the Bay Area — stricter, more military, and organized into legions rather than cabins. They have a college town (New Rome) and an actual senate.

Camp Jupiter is what Camp Half-Blood would be if it had a government, a military hierarchy, and a retirement plan. Demigods serve in the Twelfth Legion, advance through ranks, and can retire to New Rome to live normal lives — attend college, get jobs, have families. It's the Roman approach to demigod life: organized, disciplined, and sustainable. The camp has praetors (elected leaders), augurs (prophecy interpreters), and centurions (squad leaders). It's also home to legacies — children of demigods who are less powerful but still connected to the divine world.

Appearance

A military camp organized around the principia (headquarters) with barracks, training fields, and the Field of Mars for war games. New Rome — a functioning miniature city — sits within the camp's boundaries. The whole operation is more structured and Roman than Camp Half-Blood's Greek chaos.

Also known as: Camp Jupiter, the Roman camp, the Legion
