Zeus

Character from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

King of the Gods and Lord of the Sky — powerful, paranoid, and a terrible father. He rules Olympus with lightning bolts and ego.

Zeus is the most powerful Olympian and the worst at using that power responsibly. He's paranoid about prophecies, jealous of his brothers, and treats his children as strategic assets rather than people. He turned Thalia into a tree, ignored Jason, and threatened to kill Percy multiple times. He's not evil — he's just a king who's been in power too long and forgotten what accountability looks like. He genuinely cares about Olympus surviving, he just can't imagine it surviving without him in charge.

Appearance

Tall and imposing with a neatly trimmed grey-and-black beard and electric blue eyes that literally crackle with lightning when he's angry (which is often). He wears a pinstripe suit like a Wall Street executive and radiates authority. The sky darkens when he's displeased.

Also known as: Zeus, Jupiter, Lord of the Sky, King of the Gods
