Character from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Daughter of Aphrodite who spied for Kronos out of love for Luke — she redeemed herself by leading the Ares cabin into the Battle of Manhattan while disguised as Clarisse, dying a hero.
Silena proves that Aphrodite's children are more than beauty pageant contestants. She spied for Kronos because Luke charmed her into it — he was handsome, persuasive, and she was in love — and the guilt of that betrayal destroyed her slowly from the inside. She died leading the Ares cabin into the Battle of Manhattan while disguised as Clarisse — a daughter of Love pretending to be a daughter of War to save her friends and atone for her treachery. The drakon killed her, and the Ares cabin fought with grief-fueled fury after they discovered who was really under the armor. Aphrodite would have approved of the sacrifice.
Beautiful in the classic Aphrodite way — dark hair, perfect features, and kind eyes. She wore armor reluctantly and looked wrong in it, which made her final charge more striking.
