Calypso

Character from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

The immortal nymph stranded on Ogygia — cursed to fall in love with heroes who always leave. Leo was the one who came back.

Calypso was cursed by the gods to fall in love with every hero who washed up on her island and then watch them leave. Percy arrived, she fell in love, he left. She was furious, heartbroken, and trapped. Then Leo crash-landed on Ogygia, died saving the world, and came back from the dead specifically to rescue her — because Leo Valdez doesn't leave people behind. She lost her immortality and powers after leaving Ogygia, which means she chose a mortal life with Leo over eternal beauty alone.

Appearance

Caramel-brown hair, almond eyes, and timeless beauty. She wears a simple white dress and tends her island garden. After leaving Ogygia, she wears mortal clothes awkwardly, like someone who's been wearing the same outfit for three thousand years and suddenly has options.
