Character from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Goddess of the Hunt and the Moon — she leads the Hunters of Artemis, a band of immortal maiden warriors, and is one of the few gods who genuinely protects her followers.
Artemis is one of the most respected Olympians because she actually keeps her promises. Her Hunters are immortal (as long as they forswear romance), protected, and treated as family rather than assets. She recruited Thalia, saved Zoë Nightshade, and consistently demonstrates that divine power is best used to protect rather than rule. She moves through the wilderness with absolute silence, silver bow drawn, her eyes tracking things other gods cannot see, and her presence makes the forest itself stand at attention.
Appears as a twelve-year-old girl with auburn hair, silver eyes, and a silver parka. She carries a silver bow and moves through wilderness like she's part of it. She looks young because she's the eternal maiden — she chose to never grow up.
