The K-A Arena is where Canada's most familiar institution — the hockey rink — became the site of the Otherverse's most significant murder. The Carmine Beast dragged itself here and died, its blood staining the ice in patterns that wouldn't wash out and couldn't be explained to the mundane residents who saw them. As a crime scene, the arena anchors the entire investigation. The power that leaked from the dying Beast concentrated here, creating the foundation for Kennet Found's pocket reality. Every time the girls visit the arena, they're standing on ground zero — the place where a god died and a mystery was born.
