The Sorcerer Kingdom exists because Demiurge interpreted one of Ainz's offhand comments as a command to build a nation. Ainz went along with it because correcting Demiurge would have revealed his incompetence. The result is a state estimated at military strength equivalent to '500 small countries,' run by Floor Guardians, powered by undead that never tire, and expanding through a combination of terror, vassalization, and puppet governments.
