Ramposa III was a decent king in an impossible situation. His kingdom was riddled with corrupt nobles, his military was outmatched, and his most capable warrior (Gazef) was dead. When Ainz offered vassalization, Ramposa's pride — and the nobility's refusal to submit — chose war. The result was the destruction of 90% of Re-Estize's population. Ramposa watched his kingdom die because he couldn't do what Jircniv did: recognize that survival requires bending. His tragedy is that honor and wisdom don't always point the same direction.
