Item from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
The Flame-Flame Fruit, a Logia that transforms the user into living fire. Originally eaten by Portgas D. Ace, the fruit re-entered circulation after his death at Marineford. Now consumed by Sabo, Ace's sworn brother.
The Mera Mera no Mi is a powerful Logia that transforms the user into a fire human — intangible, destructive, and visually spectacular. Ace used it to become one of the most feared pirates on the sea, earning the epithet 'Fire Fist Ace' and a position as Whitebeard's Second Division Commander. When Ace died at Marineford, the fruit was reborn elsewhere and eventually ended up as the prize in Doflamingo's Corrida Colosseum tournament in Dressrosa. Luffy nearly entered to win his brother's power, but Sabo — alive, a Revolutionary Army officer, and burning with guilt for not being at Marineford — entered in disguise and won. Eating Ace's fruit was Sabo's way of inheriting his brother's will. He now wields fire in Ace's name, carrying the flame forward.
An orange fruit resembling a stylized flame, with the characteristic Devil Fruit swirl patterns. When active, the user's body becomes pure flame — capable of generating, controlling, and transforming into fire at will. Ace's signature move was the 'Fire Fist,' a column of flame launched from his fist. Sabo inherited both the fruit and the technique, adding his own Dragon Claw martial arts to the fire.
