Item from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
The legendary Mythical Zoan fruit disguised for 800 years as a simple Paramecia. Grants the body of rubber and the power of the Sun God Nika — the 'Warrior of Liberation' who fights with the most ridiculous power imaginable. Eaten by Monkey D. Luffy.
The World Government renamed this fruit and reclassified it as a Paramecia to hide its true nature. It is actually the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika — a Mythical Zoan that transforms the user into the Sun God Nika, a figure from the Void Century worshipped by slaves as the embodiment of liberation. The fruit grants rubber physiology at its base level, but its awakened form (Gear 5) turns the user's imagination into reality: the ground bounces like rubber, lightning can be grabbed and redirected, the user's body follows cartoon physics. Luffy fought his entire journey not knowing what his fruit truly was. The Five Elders consider this fruit the most dangerous in existence — not because of its raw destructive power, but because Nika represents freedom itself, the one thing the World Government cannot control.
A small, round, purple fruit with swirl patterns typical of Devil Fruits. Unremarkable in appearance — nothing suggests this is the fruit the World Government spent 800 years trying to suppress. After awakening (Gear 5), Luffy's appearance transforms dramatically: white hair, white clothing, an aura of steam and freedom. His body moves like a living cartoon — stretching, inflating, morphing reality itself around him, all while laughing.
