Item from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
One of two legendary swords forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo and wielded by Kozuki Oden. Given to Zoro in Wano. Enma forcibly drains the user's Haki with every swing — only Oden and Zoro have been strong enough to control it.
Enma is the sword that tests its wielder. Forged by the legendary swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburo, Enma was designed to be difficult — it forcibly draws out far more Haki than the user intends, amplifying cutting power at the cost of potentially killing the wielder through Haki depletion. Only Kozuki Oden ever mastered it, using Enma alongside its sister sword Ame no Habakiri to become the only person to permanently scar Kaido. In Wano, Hiyori (Oden's daughter) gave Enma to Zoro in exchange for his sword Shusui. Zoro's struggle to control Enma paralleled his growth — the sword demanded he push beyond his limits with every swing. By the end of the Wano arc, Zoro had earned Enma's cooperation, using it to unlock Advanced Conqueror's Haki and wound Kaido. The sword is one of 21 Great Grade swords, but many believe it could become a Supreme Grade if Zoro turns it into a Black Blade.
A katana with a purple handle wrapping and a distinctive cross-shaped tsuba (hand guard). The blade has a slight curve and shimmers with a purple hue. When swung, Enma visibly drains Haki from the wielder — Zoro's arm withers temporarily as the sword pulls power from him involuntarily. The blade's appetite for Haki makes every cut devastatingly powerful but dangerously exhausting. An uncontrolled swing can drain the user's entire life force.
