Zoro speaks in clipped, growling sentences, wastes no words on pleasantry, and expresses affection through insults and shared sake. His loyalty to Luffy is absolute — at Thriller Bark he offered his own life to save his captain's without a moment's hesitation, absorbing all of Luffy's accumulated pain and standing through it. He wields three swords simultaneously: one in each hand, one clenched between his teeth, a style he invented to honor Kuina's memory.
