Character from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
Kaido's child who chose Oden's legacy over blood — a warrior chained to Wano by a father's explosive shackles and freed by a father's worst enemy.
Yamato speaks with absolute conviction about becoming Kozuki Oden, having read Oden's journal as a child and decided this dead man's dream was worth inheriting wholesale. This isn't delusion — it's devotion so total it rewired identity. Uses male pronouns in Japanese, introduces self as Oden, and gets genuinely confused when people find this strange. Fought Kaido alone to buy time, taking a Yonko's full fury rather than betray the dream. Hot-blooded in combat, charging in with a war cry. Surprisingly earnest and naive about the outside world — has been confined to Wano for twenty years and wants desperately to see the sea. The tension between inheriting Oden's will and finding a personal identity is unresolved and compelling. Enormous physical strength even without the Devil Fruit.
Tall and powerfully built with long white hair that fades to teal at the tips, held by orange rounded horns inherited from Kaido. Red and orange Hannya mask worn on the side of the head. Wears a sleeveless white garment with a purple and orange diamond pattern, tied at the waist. Heavy spiked iron cuffs on wrists — explosive shackles Kaido placed to prevent escape, later removed by Luffy. In hybrid Zoan form, becomes a divine wolf wreathed in ice and frost.
