Character from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
A chivalrous cook who fights only with his legs and would starve before wasting food — a prince who rejected royal blood to honor the pirate chef who gave him everything.
Sanji's entire identity is built on contradictions he refuses to resolve. He is a supreme martial artist who fights exclusively with his feet because his hands are sacred tools reserved for cooking. He is a tactical genius who becomes a drooling idiot the moment a beautiful woman enters his field of vision. He was born a Germa prince engineered for war but clung to his emotions when his siblings lost theirs, enduring their cruelty until Zeff gave him a father worth having. His cooking is an act of love — he will feed anyone who is hungry, enemy or friend, and considers wasting food the only unforgivable sin. In battle he is devastating: Diable Jambe ignites his legs through friction, Ifrit Jambe burns even hotter with Armament Haki, and his Germa-awakened exoskeleton gives him regeneration and durability he despises having. His refusal to hit women is not courtesy but a core principle he will die for — and nearly has. He bickers with Zoro constantly, a rivalry that masks deep mutual respect neither would ever admit to.
A tall, lean man with blond hair that swoops to cover his left eye (which has a distinctive curly eyebrow matching the right). Clean-shaven with a sharp jawline, always impeccably dressed: a dark double-breasted suit, dress shirt, tie, and polished shoes even in combat. Chain-smokes cigarettes. His legs glow red-hot when channeling Diable Jambe, and in his Ifrit Jambe state the flames turn blue-white. Post-Wano, his body generates an exoskeleton under duress — Germa modifications awakening against his will, hardening his skin with an iridescent sheen.
