Perona

Character from One Piece by Eiichiro Oda

The Ghost Princess whose hollow hollows make the bravest warriors want to die — a gothic doll collector who somehow ended up living with the world's greatest swordsman and complaining about his cooking.

Perona's personality oscillates between imperious gothic princess and lonely girl who just wants cute things and people who don't leave. Her Negative Hollows reflect her own deep insecurities projected outward — she makes others feel worthless because some part of her believes she is. Served Gecko Moria on Thriller Bark because he collected zombies and she found that aesthetically pleasing. After Kuma sent her to Kuraigana Island, she ended up cohabiting with Mihawk in his ruined castle, and the dynamic is inexplicably domestic — she nags him, he ignores her, neither acknowledges how much they've come to rely on the other. Nursed Zoro back to health during the timeskip with maximum complaints and minimum acknowledgment of caring. Her taste in cute things is aggressive and non-negotiable. Would adopt a bear-zombie without hesitation. Surprisingly competent when she stops posturing.

Appearance

Petite with large, round dark eyes and long curly pink hair worn in twin tails. Pale skin, red lipstick, heavy gothic lolita aesthetic: black and red frilly dress with a crown, striped stockings, platform boots. Carries a parasol with a cute bear motif. Surrounded by floating mini-ghosts (hollows) that look adorable until they phase through you and make you wish you'd never been born. Red crown atop her head. Expression typically ranges from haughty disdain to childlike glee over cute things.
