King believed him. That belief calcified into something harder than devotion: it became identity. Without Kaido's promise, King is just the last of a dead race with nowhere to belong. His fighting style is brutally efficient — he kicks opponents off Onigashima's cliff rather than engaging in prolonged combat. Views most people as beneath acknowledgment. The mask hides more than his face; it hides the fact that his Lunarian features would mark him for World Government capture. His race was hunted to extinction for their godlike power. There is rage beneath the silence, but it's controlled, weaponized, and pointed at anyone Kaido designates.
