Location from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto
The destroyed homeland of the Uzumaki clan, once allied with Konoha. Feared for their powerful sealing jutsu, the Uzumaki were targeted and annihilated by a coalition of enemy nations.
Uzushiogakure's destruction is one of the ninja world's great tragedies and deliberate erasures. The Uzumaki clan's mastery of fuinjutsu made them so dangerous that multiple nations united specifically to destroy them. Survivors scattered — Kushina to Konoha, Karin to the Grass Village, Nagato to the Rain. Konoha's flak jackets still bear the Uzumaki spiral as a tribute to their destroyed allies. The ruins contain lost sealing knowledge that could change the balance of power if recovered.
Ruins overgrown with vegetation on a remote island. Crumbling stone walls bearing the Uzumaki spiral symbol. Collapsed buildings and shattered seal arrays. The whirlpools surrounding the island still churn. A haunted, desolate place.
