The Tenchi Bridge mission was Team 7's attempt to gather intelligence on Sasuke through one of Sasori's spies in Orochimaru's ranks. The spy turned out to be Kabuto, the meeting was a trap, and Naruto lost control to Kurama's influence, manifesting four tails of destructive chakra. Yamato's wood release was the only thing that suppressed the transformation. The bridge was largely destroyed in the ensuing battle.
