Location from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto
Hidden village of the Land of Wind, built within a natural rock fortress in the desert. Known for puppet jutsu, wind techniques, and its alliance with Konoha forged through Gaara's leadership.
Harsh and austere, Sunagakure reflects its desert environment. Resources are scarce, making the village historically dependent on military contracts. The daimyo's cost-cutting drove Suna to ally with Orochimaru and invade Konoha — a decision the village came to regret. Under Gaara's leadership, Suna transformed from a cold utilitarian military state into a village that genuinely values its people. Puppet workshops and poison labs operate alongside civilian markets.
Sand-colored buildings clustered inside a massive natural rock basin. Cliffs rise on all sides, shielding the village from sandstorms. Rounded dome architecture. Wind howls constantly through narrow canyon passages leading to the single entrance.
