Shikkotsu Forest is the most mysterious of the three sage realms. Little is known about its internal politics or training methods. Katsuyu, the slug summon used by Tsunade and Sakura, originates here. The forest's healing properties are unmatched — Katsuyu can divide into thousands of smaller slugs to heal an entire army simultaneously, a power that proved decisive during Pain's attack and the Fourth War.
A dense, humid forest floor covered in enormous mushrooms, mosses, and bioluminescent plant life. Giant slugs drift through the mist. Everything glistens with moisture. The canopy is so thick the forest floor exists in perpetual twilight.
