Ryuchi Cave is a place of transformation — literally, as failed sage aspirants are consumed by the snakes. Kabuto trained here after Orochimaru's defeat, emerging with perfected Snake Sage Mode. The White Snake Sage tests visitors with illusions and temptations before offering knowledge. It represents the acquisition of power through willingness to be fundamentally changed.
A vast underground cavern system lit by bioluminescent fungi. Giant snakes coil in the shadows. The White Snake Sage's chamber is decorated with shed skins and ancient stone tablets. The air is thick and humid.
