Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud Village)

Hidden village of the Land of Lightning, perched in mountainous terrain above the clouds. A military powerhouse known for lightning jutsu and housing two jinchuriki simultaneously.

Kumogakure is pragmatic and powerful, a village that has historically pursued strength through any means — including attempted kidnappings of kekkei genkai users like the Hyuga. The Raikage leads with iron-fisted directness. Despite this aggressive history, Kumogakure became a critical ally in the Fourth Ninja War. The village uniquely maintained two perfect jinchuriki — Killer Bee and Yugito Nii — simultaneously.

Appearance

Buildings carved into and built upon towering mountain peaks, connected by rope bridges and stone pathways. Cloud cover drifts below the village level. Storm clouds crackle with perpetual lightning. Blue-roofed cylindrical structures cling to cliff faces.
