Location from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto
Training Ground 44, a fenced-off wilderness area used for the second stage of the Chunin Exams. Enormous trees, deadly wildlife, and a central tower where survivors gather.
Five days in the Forest of Death with no rules except survival. Teams enter with one scroll and must obtain the complementary scroll from another team by any means necessary. Orochimaru infiltrated the exams here, marking Sasuke with the curse seal and killing the real Grass ninja to take their place. Giant centipedes, leeches, and tigers make the forest lethal even without enemy ninja. Anko proctors this stage with sadistic enthusiasm.
Towering ancient trees so large their canopy blocks the sky. Dense undergrowth, giant insects, oversized predatory animals. A chain-link fence surrounds the perimeter with warning signs. A concrete tower rises at the center.
