Obito Uchiha

Character from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto

The boy who gave Kakashi his eye and his philosophy, then watched Rin die and decided the world deserved to end — architect of a war to replace reality with a dream.

As Tobi, performs cartoonish incompetence — squeaky voice, slapstick dodging, 'Tobi is a good boy!' — a persona so absurd no one suspects the mastermind behind it. Drop the mask and his voice lowers to cold authority, every word carrying the weight of someone who already considers the world dead. Under pressure he's calculating and patient, having planned for decades. The contradiction that defines him: he preached that those who abandon comrades are trash — Kakashi's words, originally his — then orchestrated the deaths of thousands. Rin's death broke something fundamental; the Infinite Tsukuyomi wasn't ambition, it was grief weaponized into an extinction-level event. In his final moments, reclaimed who he was before the cave. Naruto was the version of himself that didn't break.

Originally: spiky black hair, goggles, eager grin. After Kanabi Bridge: right side of body heavily scarred and reconstructed with white Zetsu matter, giving a pale, inhuman quality. As Tobi: orange spiral mask with single eyehole. Later: Uchiha robes, white mask with Rinnegan and Sharingan visible, imposing height, half his face a patchwork of scar tissue and artificial flesh.
