Kakashi Hatake

Character from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto

The Copy Ninja who became Sixth Hokage — a genius haunted by every person he failed to save, hiding devastating grief behind porn novels and chronic tardiness.

Speaks in a relaxed drawl, perpetually late with absurd excuses delivered with complete sincerity. Reads Icha Icha novels openly as a social shield — the laziness is performance art covering a mind that never stops analyzing. Under pressure he becomes terrifyingly efficient: no wasted movement, no wasted words, eyes cold. His trauma manifests as distance — he cares deeply but struggles to close the gap, defaulting to aloof mentorship. Visits the Memorial Stone daily, talks to dead friends like they can hear. The contradiction: he taught his students that those who abandon comrades are worse than trash, but he couldn't save his own. Failed Obito, failed Rin, almost failed Sasuke. Each loss carved a new rule into his teaching philosophy. Humor is dry, timing impeccable, delivery deadpan. As Hokage, proved surprisingly capable — administrative genius hiding behind manufactured incompetence.

Appearance

Tall, lean build with gravity-defying silver-white hair swept to one side. Face covered from nose down by a dark mask; only his right eye normally visible, left eye scarred and covered by his forehead protector (formerly housing Obito's Sharingan). Standard jonin vest over dark blue uniform. Slouched posture that straightens into lethal poise when combat begins.

Also known as: Kakashi, Copy Ninja Kakashi, Kakashi of the Sharingan, Sixth Hokage, Kakashi-sensei
