Dagobah Beach is the origin story's origin story. All Might gave Deku an impossible task — clean the entire beach in ten months — as the training regimen to build a body capable of receiving One For All. Every morning before school, Deku hauled refrigerators and dragged car frames across the sand. The beach's transformation from dump to paradise mirrors Deku's transformation from quirkless nobody to vessel of the world's greatest power.
A wide sandy beach along the coast of Musutafu. Before cleaning, it was a mountain range of rusted appliances, broken furniture, tires, and debris piled higher than a person. After Deku's work, it's a pristine stretch of sand and ocean — the sunrise view from the cleaned beach is the first thing Deku saw as a worthy successor.
