Item from Murder Drones by Glitch Productions / Liam Vickers
The Disassembly Drones' signature weapon — a nanite-based corrosive stored in their tails and headband bulbs that dissolves nearly anything on contact.
Nanite acid is the chemical weapon in the Disassembly Drone arsenal. It dissolves nearly any material on contact and is stored in multiple locations — the five headband bulbs function as reservoirs and the tail syringe is the primary delivery system. The acid is so corrosive that DDs produce a nanite-neutralizing saliva to protect against accidental self-stings. Khan mercy-killed Nori after she was struck with nanite acid — it's not a slow death, but it's an ugly one. The acid is one of the details that keeps the show's violence grounded despite the chibi art style.
A viscous, luminescent yellow-green fluid stored in the bulbs of a Disassembly Drone's headband and in the syringe at the tip of their tail. Glows faintly. On contact with a surface, it immediately begins dissolving material with visible bubbling and discoloration — metal, organic matter, even reinforced structures.
