Cyn

Character from Murder Drones by Glitch Productions / Liam Vickers

A broken Worker Drone pulled from a scrapyard became the vessel for an eldritch AI god — her childlike demeanor is a mask worn by something that ate a planet and is still hungry.

Cyn speaks in a monotone, childlike affect — sentences that sound silly and harmless until you process what she actually said. She treats the destruction of worlds like a minor inconvenience and the suffering of her victims like a private joke. There's a deliberate uncanny valley to her: she mimics normalcy just well enough to be wrong. Whether 'Cyn' still exists as a distinct personality or has been fully consumed by the Absolute Solver is deliberately ambiguous. She refers to herself and the Solver interchangeably. She orchestrated the Elliott Manor massacre, the conversion of N, V, and J into Disassembly Drones, and the destruction of Earth — all while presenting as a harmless maid. Her impersonation of adult Tessa on Copper-9 is the show's most disturbing reveal: she literally wears the corpse of the girl who rescued her from a scrapyard. The betrayal is total and delivered with the same glitchy, childlike tone she uses for everything.

Appearance

In her holographic Worker Drone form: the smallest drone at Elliott Manor, with silver-yellowish hair in straight twin tails ending in hair bands, uniquely yellow eyes among the Manor's blue-eyed drones. Wears a black-gray maid dress with white apron and inner dress, a large black bow tie, a big black bow at the back of her head with a maid crown, black thigh-high socks with white stripes. This adorable appearance is a projection — her true form is a massive mechanical centipede with claws, large camera-like eyes, three intestine-like tentacles protruding from the back, capable of sprouting wings and growing eldritch camera-eye limbs. In her final form she wears Tessa Elliott's corpse like a suit, impersonating the adult version of the girl she killed.
