Location from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic by Hasbro / Lauren Faust
A small, colorful town nestled between the Everfree Forest and Canterlot Mountain — the unlikely epicenter of every major friendship crisis in Equestria.
Ponyville smells like baked goods and fresh grass, with occasional drifts of apple cider from Sweet Apple Acres when the wind blows right. It's warm, sunlit, and perpetually cheerful in a way that should be suspicious but isn't. The market square buzzes with commerce and gossip. Pegasi manage the weather overhead — every sunny day is intentional. The town has been invaded by changelings, overrun by parasprites, plunged into eternal chaos by Discord, and threatened by at least four world-ending crises. It rebuilds every time with the same determined optimism. The buildings may be quaint, but the ponies who live here have seen more apocalypses than most civilizations.
Thatched-roof cottages and timber-frame buildings in warm pastels — yellows, pinks, blues, and greens — clustered around a central market square with a fountain. The town sits in a gentle green valley with rolling hills of apple orchards to the west, the dark treeline of the Everfree Forest to the south, and Canterlot's white spires visible on the mountainside to the northeast. A river winds through town, crossed by stone bridges.
