Location from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic by Hasbro / Lauren Faust
The one place in Equestria where nature doesn't obey pony rules — weather moves on its own, plants grow wild, and things live in the shadows that shouldn't exist.
The Everfree Forest is wrong by Equestrian standards. Clouds move on their own. Rain falls without pegasus scheduling. Plants grow without earth pony cultivation. Animals take care of themselves. To ponies accustomed to managing every aspect of nature, this is deeply unsettling. The forest is home to timberwolves (wolves made of living wood), cockatrices, manticores, Ursa Majors and Minors, poison joke flowers, and Zecora's hut. The Castle of the Two Sisters — the ancient royal palace where Luna became Nightmare Moon — lies in ruins at the forest's heart. The Tree of Harmony grew here before Sombra destroyed it.
Dense, dark forest with gnarled trees that block most sunlight. The canopy is thick and tangled, creating a perpetual twilight on the forest floor. Glowing eyes watch from hollows. Strange mushrooms and bioluminescent plants provide eerie light. The deeper you go, the darker and stranger it becomes.
